Delete Your Account & Data
You can permanently delete your Contors account and everything stored with it. This page is open to anyone — you do not need the app installed or an active subscription to submit a request.
Fastest option: delete it yourself in the app
If you can still sign in, open Contors and go to Account Settings › Delete my account & all data. That runs immediately and needs no waiting on us. Use the form below if you cannot sign in, no longer have the app, or would rather we handle it.
Prefer email? Write to info@contors.com with the subject line “Delete My Account & Data.”
Cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription, because Apple and Google — not Contors — control that billing relationship. Cancel first, then delete:
iPhone / iPad: Settings app › tap your name › Subscriptions › Contors › Cancel.
Android: Play Store › profile icon › Payments & subscriptions › Contors › Cancel.
Subscribed on the web: we cancel it for you as part of this request.
Deleting an account does not refund payments already taken. Refunds for App Store and Play Store purchases are handled by Apple and Google.
What gets deleted
When we process a full deletion request, we remove from our active systems:
- Your account record, name, email address and authentication identifiers
- Every property, marker, stand, camera, food plot, route and zone you mapped, including their coordinates
- Your hunt journal, observations, notes and uploaded photos
- Your Buck Score history, and any photo you submitted through “Help calibrate Scout”
- Your Scout conversation history
- Any live location-sharing records and the consent records behind them
- Invitations you sent, and your membership of properties shared with you
- Your billing record with us — subscription tier, status, trial and renewal dates, card brand and last four digits
We also instruct our service providers to delete information they hold on our behalf.
What we have to keep, and for how long
A small set of records survives deletion because the law requires it or because a provider holds them under its own schedule:
- Completed payment and tax records — retained by our payment processor and by us for the period required by tax and accounting law
- Email delivery logs — the record that a receipt or password reset was sent, kept briefly by our email provider
- Records needed to comply with law, resolve a dispute, or enforce our Terms
- Backups — overwritten on a rolling basis rather than edited, so a copy may persist in an encrypted backup until that cycle completes
These are described in full in Section 8 of our Privacy Policy.
How long it takes
We acknowledge every request by email within 7 days and complete it within 30 days, sooner where the law requires it. If we need to verify that the request really came from the account holder, we will email you at the address on the account before doing anything irreversible — so use an address you can still receive mail at.
If you use Sign in with Apple and chose Apple's private email relay, the address on your account is an @privaterelay.appleid.com address rather than your real one. Say so in the details field and we will match it up.
Your other privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA and may use an authorized agent. Use this form or email info@contors.com; we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. See our Privacy Policy for the detail.
